The short LTG Flow rate controller Type VRD-W works with auxiliary power and controls the flow rate independent of the initial pressure in two parallel air lines as follows:
The flow rate is measured and controlled based on set values, either on the air outlet side or on the air inlet side. The other non-measured air flow is controlled synchronously because of the rigid mechanical connection between the two dampers. This also ensures safe and complete shut-off. Cutting back the number of flow rate controllers may result
in considerable savings with respect to investment
and data points.

- Excellent control accuracy from +/-5% (Vnom) to +/- 15% (Vmin).

Private university Luigi Bocconi, Milano has been awarded world building 2008 in category "learning" at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.

LTG Aktiengesellschaft congratulates University Luigi Bocconi on this prominent award and is proud to be involved in the project "University Luigi Bocconi". LTG Aktiengesellschaft supplied for this project LTG fan coil units type VKB for heating and cooling. Fresh air flow rates up to 200m³/h can be supplied while maintaining low noise levels. The unit is ideal for installation in access floors with a recommended clearance of 400-600 mm. Very precise adjustment of the units is realized via vibration-isolated, height-adjustable feet.

In combination with the LTG fan coil units type VKB, LTG floor-mounted air diffuser type LDU-W have been installed in the World Building of the year 2008. The floor-mounted air diffuser offers high thermal and acoustic comfort and can be combined with the fan coil unit type VKB under the same grille.
